About Scientech Future
Scientech Future is a wholly owned subsidiary of Genius Development. Its original Information and Communication Technology and Computer Science courses are designed to train children and adolescents aged from 3 to 17 to become future technological elites and innovators. In Scientech Future, a professional team of teachers will share with students their extensive and in-depth knowledge of computing and engineering. The courses are supplemented by textbooks that are well structured, easy-to-read, and specifically written for the curriculum, so that students can acquire knowledge of computer science in a systematic manner.
Our research and development team for computer science includes experts and professors from Harvard, MIT, Cambridge University, Hong Kong University, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology as well as senior executives from Alibaba Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, together with educational psychologists. Our teachers are all graduates in computing-related fields from worldclass universities and have many years of teaching experience. Our curriculum for ICT and computer science is designed to acquaint students with state-of-the-art technology and methodology being used at the frontiers of research. We are the largest and the most systematic computer education provider for children and adolescents aged 3-17 in Hong Kong. Our role is to be the provider of the most advanced computer education in the world and to nurture the future scientific and technological elites.
Our teachers will tailor-make the relevant courses for children according to the personalities of the students and the progress of their learning, so that a solid foundation in the fields of computer science and ICT can be built. They all become young computer geniuses after acquiring sufficient expertise in their chosen domain. At the same time, our courses cover all the main topics required in many computer science international exams, including IGCSE, A-Level, IB, AP, ACT, HKDSE, Chinese Academy Exam, and entrance exam for top universities in the world. This can ensure that students are acquiring the necessary skills for various computer science examinations.
Since its establishment in 2014, Scientech Future has been recognized and trusted by students and parents of many top tier schools in HK. We have provided computer and coding courses for tens of thousands of students through our campuses and partner schools, equipping them with a range of computer skills and arousing their curiosity and creativity in computers. Our STEM project is recognized and supported by the Hong Kong government. We are invited to be part of the Hong Kong government's high-tech business incubator Cyberport, as our aim is to train future technological elites and innovative talents.

Our teaching philosophy
The traditional education system usually relies heavily on rote learning, with interactive learning receiving minimal attention. At Scientech Future we want children to enjoy learning, and to realize that learning is fun. Scientech Future has the most systematic computer training system for children and adolescents in Hong Kong. We integrate learning with play and allow children to absorb and retain increasingly complex information during the process. We want to nurture a child's love of learning by expanding on his or her own inquisitive nature. We want to increase their intrinsic motivation and self-confidence in learning.

For our children to be prepared to engage in a world alongside smart machines, they will need to be educated differently than in the past. They will need to learn computer science and electronic engineering as early as possible. Scientech Future is the largest and the most systematic provider of education in computer science and electronic engineering for children and adolescents in Hong Kong.
From programming in high-level languages such as Python, Java, C and C++ , to the creation of webpages using markup languages such as HTML, coding builds logical thinking as children need to focus on solving a specific challenge. This teaches children to evaluate situations from multiple perspectives and come up with creative solutions. Children also learn a wide range of other topics from the design of programs using flowcharts to advanced algorithms on searching, sorting, and numerical computation.
Projects involving batteries, switches, lights, buzzers, and motion seem to be universally appealing to children of all ages. A basic understanding of electronics is essential to move on to many great computing and engineering projects. At Scientech Future, children learn a wide range of topics from computer hardware to the creation and design of robots.
